About Event
A full-day journey from San Francisco into the heart of Yosemite National Park — granite cliffs, waterfalls, alpine meadows, and a stop among the Giant Sequoias of the Tuolumne Grove. Yosemite is a four-hour drive each way from the city, which makes the day long but the payoff immediate: few places on earth pack this much scale into one valley.
The route follows the Sierra foothills inland and climbs into the park, where the road delivers you to viewpoints over Yosemite Valley — El Capitan rising more than three thousand feet straight out of the ground, Bridalveil Fall threading down the cliffs, Half Dome's sheer face cut in profile against the sky. Time in the valley includes walks to short trail viewpoints and the chance to wander Yosemite Village. The Tuolumne Grove stop brings you face-to-face with sequoias hundreds of feet tall and thousands of years old.
A small-group van caps the day at a manageable number of guests, which means the guide actually talks to you, the photo stops aren't a scramble, and the pace adapts to the group. The driver handles a fourteen-hour day so you don't have to.
