Inspiration Valley - Alessandro Solbiati 23/04/24

For the upcoming webinar in collaboration with Silicon Valley Study Tour, INNOVIT - Italian Innovation and Culture Hub, ITA - Italian Trade Agency and Silicon Valley Fellowship, Alessandro i will share his experience as Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Meta

Alessandro Solbiati has a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and several international experiences, both for study and work purposes. He speaks Mandarin, English, and Italian and knows Python and C++. 

After an exchange program at Tongji University in Beijing, he co-founded ForeignBridge, a mobile application to help young foreigners find jobs in China, addressing cultural and communication barriers. He then worked as the CTO of another startup, AnyHelper, before returning to Europe to work for J.P. Morgan and Facebook in London. 

More than three years later, he moved to the Bay Area, working as a machine learning engineer for Meta in Menlo Park, California, focusing on the AI for Social Impact project, aimed at providing tools for connectivity and support to people in need worldwide.
