Hall of Fame Classic
The Hall of Fame Classic is an annual season-opening college basketball tournament created by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Founded in 2001, this competition is currently held in mid-November at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, a venue that also houses the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. In its earlier years, the tournament's final rounds were hosted at the Municipal Auditorium, with the exception of the inaugural 2001 event, which took place at Kemper Arena.
