Chicago State Cougars
The Chicago State Cougars are the varsity athletic teams representing Chicago State University in intercollegiate athletics. Based on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, the university sponsors 16 varsity teams. The Cougars compete in NCAA Division I as members of the Northeast Conference (NEC), following a previous membership in the Western Athletic Conference.
