Big 12 Conference

The Big 12 Conference is an American college football league comprising 16 universities. These member schools compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. Formed in 1994, the conference began play in the fall of 1996. Most of its member institutions previously belonged to either the Big Eight Conference or the Southwest Conference. Currently, the league's teams claim a total of six national titles. Arizona State serves as the current conference champion, which represents the school's first Big 12 title.
