Grease

Grease is a musical production that follows ten working-class teenagers navigating the complexities of peer pressure, politics, personal core values, and love. Set at the fictional Rydell High School in Northwest Chicago, the show features a score that borrows heavily from the sounds of early rock and roll. The musical explores themes of friendship, teenage rebellion, and sexual exploration during adolescence, while addressing social issues such as teenage pregnancy and gang violence. The plot subverts common cinema tropes as the female lead is drawn into the man's influence, transforming into his wild, roguish fantasy.
