Philip Glass
Philip Glass, born in 1937, is an American composer and pianist. Widely regarded as one of the most influential composers of the late 20th century, his work is closely associated with minimalism. His musical compositions are built up from repetitive phrases and shifting layers. Glass has described himself as a composer of "music with repetitive structures," a style that he has helped to evolve stylistically.
