Oasis

Oasis is an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. Initially consisting of Liam Gallagher, guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan, and drummer Tony McCarroll, the group finalized its formation when Liam's older brother, Noel Gallagher, joined as a fifth member. Noel became the de facto leader and wrote the band's first four albums. Regarded as the most globally successful group of the Britpop era, Oasis is recognized as one of the most influential rock bands of all time.
