Penn State Nittany Lions

The Penn State Nittany Lions are the athletic teams representing Pennsylvania State University, with the exception of the women's basketball team, which is known as the Lady Lions. Sporting navy blue and white school colors, the teams feature the Nittany Lion as their mascot. Most of these sports compete in NCAA Division I and the Big Ten Conference. Notably, the men's volleyball team plays in the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, the women's ice hockey team competes in Atlantic Hockey America, and the fencing teams operate independently.
