USA Hockey National Team Development Program

The USA Hockey National Team Development Program (NTDP) is a men's national ice hockey program representing the United States. Started in 1996 by USA Hockey to identify and train elite players under the age of 18, the program consists of two teams: the under-17 and under-18 squads. Based in Plymouth, Michigan, the program represents the United States in the IIHF World U18 Championship. Domestically, the teams compete against opponents in the United States Hockey League and the National Collegiate Athletic Association, as well as participating in various international tournaments.
