Western Athletic Conference
The Western Athletic Conference, also known as the WAC, is an American multi-sports college athletic conference operating within NCAA Division I. Founded in 1962, the league operated under the Western Athletic Conference name from its inception until July 1, 2026. Prior to this change, it functioned as the WAC before becoming known as the United Athletic Conference, abbreviated as the UAC and also referred to as The United.
