Princeton Tigers

The Princeton Tigers are the football team representing Princeton University. The team competes at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level as a member of the Ivy League. The Princeton football program began in 1869 with a contest against nearby Rutgers University, an event that is often regarded as the beginnings of American football. Spectators attending a game will see this collegiate program compete in NCAA Division I football.
