Tennessee State Lady Tigers
The Tennessee State Lady Tigers represent Tennessee State University (TSU) in intercollegiate athletics. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, these teams compete in NCAA Division I as members of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). TSU is notable as one of only three historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) competing in Division I that do not belong to an all-HBCU athletic conference. The university's women's track team is specifically known as the Tigerbelles. Sporting the school colors of blue and white, the teams are represented by their mascot, Aristocat the Tiger, and share a historic rivalry with Kentucky State University.
