The Rumba Kings
The Rumba Kings is an original American world music band co-founded in 2015 in Seattle, Washington, by producer, songwriter, and bassist Johnny Bacolas alongside guitarist and songwriter George Stevens. The group's music is strongly influenced by Latin and Mediterranean traditions and is mostly nylon-guitar driven, taking inspiration from artists such as Yanni and The Gipsy Kings. Bacolas, a former Capitol Records recording artist previously known for the band Second Coming, describes the group's sound as passionate and beautiful, while Stevens notes that their songwriting prioritizes beauty above all else.
