Colonial Athletic Association

The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), formerly known as the Colonial Athletic Association and the ECAC South Conference, is a US collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA's Division I. Headquartered in Richmond, the conference features full member institutions located across East Coast states, spanning from Massachusetts to South Carolina. Most of these member schools are public universities. Originally a Southern conference, the CAA expanded its geographic balance after the turn of the 21st century by adding four schools located in the Northeastern United States.
