Zingara

Zingara is associated with the Italian painter Antonio Solario, who lived from 1465 to 1514. Also known as Antonio de Solario, Antonio da Solario, or by the nickname Lo Zingaro, he was a painter of the Venetian school. Solario worked in Naples, the Marche, and possibly England. His career is obscure and has been largely pieced together from his surviving works; at one time, his historical existence was even doubted.
