Artist
Burt Bacharach
Burt Bacharach was an American composer, songwriter, record producer, and pianist widely regarded as a significant figure in 20th-century popular music, orchestral pop, and easy listening. He composed hundreds of songs, many in collaboration with lyricist Hal David, and arranged, conducted, and produced much of his recorded output. Influenced by a background in jazz, his music often featured atypical chord progressions, time signature changes, and uncommon instrument selections for small orchestras.
