Bach Festival
A Bach festival is a music festival held to celebrate the memory and music of the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach, who lived from 1685 to 1750. Festivals dedicated to Bach are held in various locations throughout the world. A notable example is the Bachfest Leipzig, which takes place each year in the city of Leipzig. This is the city where the composer worked as Thomaskantor for the last 27 years of his life.
