Charles Yang is a linguist and cognitive scientist who currently holds the position of Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania. His primary research focuses on language acquisition, language variation, and language change. His scholarly work across these subjects is carried out from a broadly Chomskyan perspective.
