Blood Brothers

Blood Brothers is a musical with book, lyrics, and music by Willy Russell. Originally produced by Bill Kenwright until his death in 2023, the production was subsequently taken over by Bill Kenwright Limited. The story revolves around fraternal twins Mickey and Edward who are separated at birth. Raised in different environments on opposite ends of the social spectrum, one brother becomes a wealthy councillor, while the other is unemployed and in prison. Their friendship suffers a rift when both twins fall in love with the same girl in this contemporary nature versus nurture plot.
