The Prom

The Prom is an American musical production featuring music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and a book by Bob Martin and Beguelin, based on an original concept by Jack Viertel. The story follows four Broadway actors who are lamenting their lost days of fame. In an effort to help, they travel to the conservative town of Edgewater, Indiana. Their mission is to assist a lesbian student who has been banned from bringing her girlfriend to her high school prom.
