Mägo de Oz are a Spanish folk metal band from Begoña, Madrid, formed in mid-1988 by drummer Txus di Fellatio. The group became well known for incorporating a strong Celtic feel into their music, which is strengthened through their consistent usage of a violinist and a flautist. Named after the idea that life is a yellow brick road walked in search of dreams, the band celebrated their 30th anniversary on October 26, 2018, by performing a special concert alongside a symphony orchestra at the WiZink Center in Madrid.
