Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is a jukebox musical adapted from Stephan Elliott's 1994 film, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Written by Elliott and Allan Scott, the production features a score of well-known pop songs. The story follows two drag queens and a trans woman traveling west from Sydney to Alice Springs aboard a lavender bus named Priscilla to perform a drag show at a remote desert resort. Along their journey, the three friends encounter strange characters and homophobia, navigating a comedy of errors while expanding their horizons and comfort zones.
