Informacje
Charlie Hunter is an American guitarist, composer, producer, and bandleader who first came to prominence in the early 1990s. He performs using custom-made seven- and eight-string guitars, allowing him to simultaneously play bass lines, chords, and melodies. Influenced by jazz guitarists Joe Pass and Tuck Andress, Hunter's technique blends bass notes with melody to create the illusion of two guitars. Critic Sean Westergaard described him as an agile improviser with an ear for great tone who performs alongside excellent players to make great music.
