Informacje

Steve Lacy is an American jazz saxophonist and composer recognized as an important player of the soprano saxophone. Known for a melodic and tightly-structured sound, Lacy works extensively in experimental jazz and free improvisation. As a distinctive composer, Lacy often builds compositions out of a single questioning phrase repeated several times. Lacy's repertoire focuses on the works of prominent jazz composers rather than standard popular or show tunes.
