Green Jellÿ is an American comedy rock band that was originally formed in 1981 under the name Green Jellö. The group eventually changed its name to Green Jellÿ following legal pressure from Kraft Foods Inc., the owners of the Jell-O brand. Kraft Foods Inc. claimed that the original name was an infringement of their trademark.
