Harlem Globetrotters

The Harlem Globetrotters are an American exhibition basketball team from New York City. They combine athleticism, theater, and comedy in an entertaining style of play. The team has played more than 26,000 exhibition games in 124 countries and territories, often playing against deliberately ineffective opponents such as the Washington Generals and the New York Nationals. Owned by Herschend, the team features a mascot named Globie, an anthropomorphized globe, and uses a whistled version of "Sweet Georgia Brown" as their signature song.
