Elizabeth Caroline Orton, performing as Beth Orton, is an English musician known for her "folktronica" sound, which mixes elements of folk and electronica. She initially gained recognition in the mid-1990s through collaborations with William Orbit, Andrew Weatherall, Red Snapper, and the Chemical Brothers. Her solo releases include the critically acclaimed 1996 album Trailer Park, the BRIT Award-winning Central Reservation (1999), and the 2002 UK top 10 album Daybreaker. Orton's later work includes the acoustic-focused Sugaring Season in 2012 and a return to electronic music with her 2016 album, Kidsticks.
