Altan

Altan is an Irish folk music band originally formed in County Donegal in 1987. Founded by lead vocalist Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh and her husband Frankie Kennedy, the group has gone on to sell over a million records. Their music is primarily influenced by traditional Irish-language songs from the Donegal region. Audiences attending an Altan performance can expect a live presentation of traditional Irish folk music.
