Neurosis

Neurosis is an American post-metal band from Oakland, California. Formed in 1985 as a crust punk band, the group expanded its lineup to include a keyboardist and a visual artist. Beginning with their 1992 album, Souls at Zero, the band transformed their hardcore sound by incorporating doom metal and industrial music influences. Through this evolution, Neurosis became a major force in the emergence of the post-metal and sludge metal genres.
