Developing an interest in music at an early age, he began experimenting with music and writing poetry during his teenage years. By the age of nineteen, he met Andrés Hidalgo, who became his manager. Hidalgo subsequently introduced the artist to record producer Sergio George. After hearing three of his demos, George immediately signed him to his label.
