God Street Wine

God Street Wine is an American jam band from New York City that played a significant role in the early 1990s improvisational jam band scene. Their music blends rock, jazz, bluegrass, funk, psychedelia, pop, Americana, reggae, and progressive styles. Originally active alongside contemporaries like Blues Traveler and The Spin Doctors, the band broke up in 1999 before reuniting in 2009. Known for their dedicated fanbase, referred to as "Winos," the group was also an early adopter of internet marketing and telephone hotlines to connect with listeners.
