Interpol

Interpol is an American rock band from Manhattan, New York. Associated with the New York indie music scene, the group emerged from the post-punk revival. The band's sound features a mix of staccato bass and rhythmic, harmonized guitar with a snare-heavy mix. This style draws comparisons to post-punk bands like Joy Division, Television, and the Chameleons, as well as Echo & the Bunnymen and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Interpol operates without a primary songwriter, as each member contributes to the composition of their music.
