Josh Joplin Group
The Josh Joplin Group is an American alternative rock band led by singer-songwriter Josh Joplin. Formed in Atlanta, Georgia, the group began as a trio featuring Joplin alongside Geoff Melkonian on bass, viola, and vocals, and Jason Buecker on drums, percussion, and vocals. Originally performing as the Josh Joplin Band, they released their debut album, Projector Head, in January 1996. Following local critical success and regional radio airplay, the band established themselves as a touring act, performing across the American South, Northeast, and beyond.
