The Script
The Script is an Irish pop rock band formed in Dublin in 2001 by Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan, and Glen Power. After signing with Phonogenic, a Sony Label Group imprint, the band moved to London. They released their debut album, The Script, in August 2008, which peaked at number one in Ireland and the UK and featured singles such as "We Cry" and "The Man Who Can't Be Moved". Following Sheehan's death in 2023, the current lineup consists of O'Donoghue, Power, Benjamin Sargeant, and Ben Weaver.
