Topdog/Underdog

Topdog/Underdog is a play written by American playwright Suzan-Lori Parks. The production premiered off-Broadway in New York City in 2001, opening on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre the following year, where it played for several months. In 2002, Parks received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Outer Critics Circle Award for the play, which also received awards for its director and cast. In 2023, the production won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play.
