Fenix TX
Fenix TX is an American pop punk band that originally formed in Houston, Texas, in 1995 under the name Riverfenix. As Riverfenix, the group independently released an EP titled G.B.O.H. and a self-titled album. Following a cease and desist order from the estate of actor River Phoenix, they changed their name to Fenix TX and signed with MCA Records in 1999. Under this label, they released the albums Fenix TX and Lechuza, which together sold more than 600,000 copies. The band subsequently disbanded in 2002 due to creative differences.
