Swervedriver
Swervedriver is an English alternative rock band formed in Oxford in 1989. Originally established around core members Adam Franklin and Jimmy Hartridge, the group released four studio albums alongside various EPs and singles between 1989 and 1998. By 1993, the lineup stabilized with Franklin on vocals and guitar, Hartridge on guitar, Jez Hindmarsh on drums, and Steve George on bass. Known for a heavier rock sound than their shoegaze contemporaries, the band's musical style evolved over time to incorporate elements of psychedelia, classic pop, and indie rock.
