The Waterboys
The Waterboys are a British-Irish folk rock band formed in London in 1983 by Scottish musician and songwriter Mike Scott. Scott remains the only constant member of the band, which has been composed mainly of musicians from Britain and Ireland. Over a four-decade career, the band has drawn on multiple styles of music. Those attending their performances can expect to hear a blend of punk rock, rock and roll, folk music, Celtic soul, noise rock, country music, rhythm and blues, and chamber music.
