Tuba Skinny
Tuba Skinny is an American street band based in New Orleans, Louisiana, that performs early jazz, ragtime, and blues music from the 1920s and 1930s. The ensemble aims to emulate the sound of jazz from the era before phonographs became widely available. Their instrumentation features cornet, clarinet, trombone, tuba, tenor banjo, guitar, frottoir, and vocals. Originating as a busking band, the group has performed on city streets and at various music festivals worldwide, including appearances in Mexico, Sweden, Australia, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Spain.
