Bow Wow Wow
Bow Wow Wow is an English new wave band created in 1980 by manager Malcolm McLaren, who recruited members of Adam and the Ants to form the group alongside thirteen-year-old lead vocalist Annabella Lwin. The band released their debut EP, Your Cassette Pet, in 1980 and achieved a UK top ten hit with "Go Wild in the Country" in 1982. Their music features a danceable new wave sound driven by a Burundi beat from drummer Dave Barbarossa, paired with subversive, suggestive, and exuberant lyrics chanted by their teenage lead singer.
