Guaco
Guaco is a tropical music band from Maracaibo, Venezuela. The band's name is attributed to a bird of the same name. Originally starting as a gaita zuliana group, the band evolved its sound by integrating traditional elements with salsa music, complex horn arrangements, violins, and electric guitars. Today, the band performs a distinct style of tropical music characterized by a complex mixture of gaita, salsa, pop, jazz, funk, rock and roll, and vallenato rhythms.
