Scythian
Scythian is a Celtic rock and Americana band based in the DC Metro Area. Formed in 2002, the group features a varying sound that ranges from traditional jigs and reels to contemporary covers. The band's name is inspired by the Scythians, who were Ukrainian nomads, reflecting the Ukrainian ancestry of Alexander and Danylo Fedoryka. According to its members, the name refers to pre-Mesopotamian barbarians who did not use forks or phonics.
