Jamestown Jimmies

The Jamestown Jimmies were a minor league baseball team based in Jamestown, North Dakota. The team competed as members of the Northern League during the 1936 and 1937 seasons. In 1936, the Jimmies operated as a minor league affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals and won the league pennant. During their active years, the team hosted their minor league home games at City Park, succeeding earlier local teams known as the Jimkotans and Jimkotas who had previously played at McElroy Park in the same location.
