AFC Asian Cup
The AFC Asian Cup is an international association football tournament run by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). As the primary association football competition for the region, it is contested by the senior men's national teams of the AFC's member nations to determine the continental champion of Asia. It is the second-oldest continental football championship in the world, ranking behind the Copa América. The winning team becomes the champions of Asia and, until 2015, qualified for the FIFA Confederations Cup.
