Battle of The Bands
Battle of the Bands is a musical competition where multiple bands compete for the title of "best band." Typically held at live music events and forums, these contests determine the winner through a voice vote of the audience or by identifying the band that brings the most people to support them. Well-known examples of this competition format include the annual SoundWave Music Competition and the yearly Live and Unsigned contest in the United Kingdom.
