Band
Beherit
Beherit is a Finnish black metal band from Rovaniemi, formed in 1989 by Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance, Demonic Fornication, and Sodomatic Slaughter. The group was established to perform a primitive, savage, and hell-obsessed style of black metal. Taking their name from a Syriac word for a devil, the band has attracted a cult following through their uncommercial music, visuals, and live performances. Regarded as genre pioneers, Beherit's work combines a raw sound with an atmospheric, avant-garde style.
