Skate Canada International
Skate Canada International is an annual, senior-level international figure skating competition hosted and organized by Skate Canada. Sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), the event first took place in 1973 in Calgary, Alberta. When the ISU launched the Champions Series in 1995, Skate Canada International served as one of the five qualifying events. It has remained a Grand Prix event every year since, except for 2020, when the competition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
