Aquila Theatre
Aquila Theatre is a New York City-based theatre company founded in London in 1991 by Peter Meineck. The not-for-profit organisation presents a regular season of plays in New York and at international festivals, aiming to bring theatrical works to a large audience. Education is an important component of its mission, highlighted by the Shakespeare Leaders program in Harlem. Additionally, the company tours around seventy American towns and cities a year, providing access to under-served urban and rural communities.
