After 7
After 7 is an American R&B group founded in 1987 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds, and Keith Mitchell. Named by their sibling, singer-songwriter Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, the group achieved early success with platinum-selling albums like their 1989 self-titled debut and 1992's Takin' My Time. They are known for hit singles such as "Ready or Not", "Can't Stop", and "'Til You Do Me Right". After disbanding in 1997, the group later resumed touring and released a successful comeback album, Timeless, in 2016, which featured three top ten adult R&B hits.
